Honeymoon in Mexico

Whoever thought of the concept of “Honeymooning” was brilliant! Our honeymoon was the best week of our lives. I’m not exaggerating. It couldn’t have been any MORE relaxing. We stayed in Atlanta the night of our wedding and the following night so that we could regain some energy for the rest of our honeymoon in Cancun! We spent 7 nights in Cancun, and we soaked up every last second. Staying in Atlanta was a great idea because the week of the wedding was the craziest week…EVER. Now, that may be due to the fact that we put everything off until that week, but I work best under pressure! Sure enough, we got it all done, along with the help of our close friends and family. They were amazing!! Anyway, we took quite a few pictures on our trip. I am so thankful my husband loves pictures even MORE than I do. I didn’t think it was possible!

The photo was taken in Atlanta the day after the wedding! We were walking to Mellow Mushroom for Linner! I say liner because I’m pretty sure we laid in bed until 3:00….

This Calzone is our favorite. We share it every time we go to Mellow. It’s the House calzone, loaded with spinach, mushroom, tomato and mozzarella! Yum!

Our travel agent told us we would need to get to the airport 4 hours early because we were flying internationally. We had some time to spare…

I screamed a little bit when we were escorted to our hotel room. It was amazing! I felt like we were in a movie! They had decorated the room for our honeymoon and made it so special. This place was awesome.

Everyday they would come and refill our mini fridge along with this plate of goodies. Milky Way…..Man oh man.ImageImage

Bath robes! I’m now obsessed! These things were great….So grew that I wanted to bring it home. Jared gave me permission but told me they would probably charge us, so I left it in Cancun. Shame…

We arrived at about 9:00 and still hadn’t eaten dinner! We decided to try out room service! Here’s what we got! It was amazing!

We loved room service. We had breakfast in bed almost every day. So so so so sooo good! ImageImageImageImageImageImage

They put a honeymoon sash on our door! Such sweeties….!ImageImageImageImage

The infinity pool was our favorite. We spent a lot of time there!ImageImageImageImage

This is our little balcony….Just being married people. Image

I got this dress at Five Below. It was $5.00. Just sayin’…ImageImage

Goat cheese…It’s just good.ImageImage

This meal was tough to swallow. I learned that I am not a Grouper lover. Reminds me way too much of chicken. Barf!!

Cannoli! Yummo!

Coconuts! ImageImageImageImage

Vegetarian pizza! Holllla!!! I’m a pizza lover. I think I’ve decided it’s my favorite food. Well spinach. And then pizza.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

And that’s it! There’s a little peak into our best week yet!! We are both super passionate about traveling so there will be lots more posts like this in the future! Happy Wednesday, friends!
